Day 4: Table Numbers

Table Numbers!

Happy Labor Day weekend! Hope you’re relaxing and catching up on all your favorite things! For me that’s reading (almost done with The Nightingale, it’s great!) and catching up on the Vuelta a España. Any other cycling fans out there? Yesterday’s mountain stage was just about the most tactical stage I’ve seen! Really exciting.

Today’s 100 day challenge project was table numbers. I wanted to do a watercolor wash on these with silver lettering. I used a Molotow marker, they are my favorite! The ink spreads really evenly and doesn’t blob up.

Processed with VSCO with g3 preset

  • Canson Watercolor Paper
  • Liquitex Kolinsky Plus, Round 6 (I have had this brush forever, I have no idea where I got it!)
  • Watercolor, just a cheap set of watercolors from Michaels.

Thanks for reading! See you tomorrow for some watercolor envelope addressing!
